With its Claims Service Guarantee, Intact Insurance is simply stating it believes insurance is all about people. If the unexpected were to happen, an Intact Insurance representative will assist you within 30 minutes of your call, guaranteed!  If this is not the case, we’ll refund you the equivalent of your annual premium*.  It’s all about keeping our promise! 

And the guarantee of satisfaction that comes with being an Intact Insurance policyholder goes a step further.

  1. When you present a claim that is covered under your insurance policy, Intact Insurance promises to:
    • Get back to you within 24 hours
    • Offer you the best settlement possible under the circumstances, without your having to negotiate
  2. A claims adjuster will tell you what you need to know about:
    • What coverages are offered under your insurance policy
    • What emergency measures to take, for example, in case of theft or water damage
    • What your privileges are for a replacement vehicle
    • Finding alternative accommodation, if applicable. 

      He or she can also recommend an approved locksmith, a car dealer, restaurant, contractor or store in your region.  
  3. In case of total loss, you can choose to:  
    • Receive a settlement based on a total loss, or
    • Have your vehicle repaired (if it’s considered still safe to drive and if the repair costs do not exceed its value). 
  4. And if you’re not satisfied, all you have to do is address your complaint to our office or contact Intact Assurance at 1 866 464 2424.
  5. And lastly, should Intact Insurance not respect its commitment to you in the event of loss,  this one-of-a kind insurer promises to: 
    • Get the situation back to normal
    • Reimburse the annual premium for the car or home that is object of the claim.
